the root of the work

Ada Smith Jackson, Founder

I am a values-driven design strategist committed to building systems that don’t just work, but thrive. My journey began with a passion for supporting meaningful work through strategic planning and gradually evolving to integrate the art of human-centered design with the science of systems thinking. This transformation was driven by the recognition of a need to balance profitability with diverse stakeholder priorities while embracing a holistic approach that honors the interconnected nature of systems.

Delving deeper into the work, three key themes emerged that further defined my path:

  • disengaged employees

  • structural and cultural roadblocks (for those wanting to engage)

  • a world racing forward with technological change

These insights led me to develop sharper focus and capabilities on organizational design and innovation strategy. To this end, I completed MIT’s Strategy & Innovation executive program that builds on complimentary certifications in Conscious Business (CBCA) and Conversational Intelligence (CIQ). Together, these trainings have deepened my understanding of leadership capabilities required to direct cultural evolution in the direction of agile creativity to meet the demands of a fast changing world. I lead with inquiry; listen with empathy; design with strategy and iterate with data - an organic process that energizes cultures and builds creative momentum.

While I love what I do, I hate doing it alone. I founded ENSO Strategy to build and leverage a community of diverse collaborators to rethink and go deeper on the most common problems in the workplace today. As creative partners, we co-design pathways that blend creativity and practicality, in service of our collective evolutionary progress.

Let’s build something innovative, human, and forward-thinking - together!
